Keeping on!

So I'm in week 2 of this DDPY round.  I've started over a couple times BUT this time I'm sticking with it.  I can feel it in my arms and legs and I gotta say, it feels good!!  I'm trying to get my left foot back to pre-tendonitis state but that was a few years ago so it's going to take time.  I'm a few days shy of 6 months post-op.  Sometimes, it feels fantastic, other times, it still hurts.  One day at a time!

So, I've been away for a couple weeks - one week at Scout Camp with Jake, and one week at the 14th Annual Arthrogryposis Conference.  This year the conference was in Norfolk, VA.  Next year, Scottsdale, AZ.  I didn't have a way to do DDPY while at Camp Napowan but I did do a lot of walking and a LOT of lifting an 80 pound kiddo!  That shocked me into the realization that if I don't get my fat ass in better shape, Jake's days of Scout Camp are limited.  So, while at the AMC Conference, I did DDPY just about every morning.  Felt good to be moving before long days of working.  When I told Andrea what I was doing, her reply was, "I thought we were going to do it together."  So, I'm going to start over again today!!!  I need more flexibility in my life....I'm sooooo stiff all the time.  It's actually getting painful.  After we return from Jake's surgery in Philadelphia, I'm going to start driving to work.  That should, hopefully, fr...
